For Matt and Oeay Bergman, entrepreneurship and premium hospitality are deeply rooted family affairs. As Denver natives, their decade-long track record as local small business owners is defined by one thing: an unwavering dedication to exceptional customer service.
Before blending their love for the greens with luxury mobile entertainment, Matt and Oeay spent over twenty years mastering the art of high-end guest experiences. Matt honed his leadership in elite culinary environments, ultimately serving as the Executive Chef for a major professional sporting venue, while Oeay, a proud CU Boulder alumna, dedicated decades to perfecting the nuances of top-tier hospitality management.
This deep-seated commitment to service served as the perfect catalyst for pioneering their new mobile golf venture. Driven by their family’s collective passion for the sport—anchored by their children’s love for the game—Matt and Oeay co-founded the company with a singular, sophisticated vision: to deliver Colorado’s foremost mobile golf simulator experience.

For Jeff and Kelly Rothberg, what they’ve built together is more than a business. It’s a reflection of a life shaped by passion, leadership, and connection. Kelly, a Class A LPGA Teaching Professional since 1995 and former Division I Women’s College Golf Coach, has spent decades developing players at the highest level, guiding teams to championship success while mentoring individuals far beyond the game.
Jeff brings decades of experience as a founder and operator of award-winning restaurant brands, known for creating environments where people feel genuinely taken care of, and experiences stand out. From concept to scale, his work has always centered around delivering something exceptional.
Together, they’ve created a golf experience that blends expertise with hospitality, where every detail matters and every guest feels like they belong.
Justin Funyak
Co-Founder
Justin brings a wealth of entrepreneurial spirit and a “people-first” attitude to the Breaking Birdies partnership. Based in Kentucky and working alongside his long-time friends, he is focused on the social and community impact of their mobile golf venture.
Justin’s goal is simple: to combine a professional, high-quality service with the fun, welcoming atmosphere that only a friendship-based business can provide.
While his focus is on hospitality, his competitive edge shines on the green. Justin is known to beat his co-founder Jeff roughly 9 out of 10 times on the course—though, in the spirit of true friendship, Jeff may feel inclined to dispute those official stats!
